Ooya, what a difference a day makes, had an early start today, I was in the greenhouse for 6:00! Everything has come on leaps and bounds in the last 24 hours…

My bedding Petunias and trailing Fuchsias have outgrown their little starter homes, must pot these on tomorrow and give them more room to grow. The Geraniums are bursting out too, they are turning into fine teenagers..

Need to sort out the canes for my Runner Beans this morning, I’ve decided to grow the beautiful Sweet Pea with them this year, hoping to aid pollination, I also need to top up my potato bag as my early potatoes have punched their way through the surface, I didn’t have much success with the potato sacks last year, so I’m using top soil in them this year and see how they go.. It’s all exciting stuff.

This afternoons job is to try and tame the rampant Periwinkle, if only for a short time, wish me luck!

Isn’t Mother Nature Wonderful….

I agree you can almost hear the plants growing - everyday my little seedlings are getting bigger - and good luck with the periwinkle!!

How wonderful to see lots of things coming through the soil, it is like magic especially when a plant appears which I had forgotten about.

I am in a constant battle with next door's Perrywinkle which has taken a very great liking to my garden. It is coming up in the hedge, through the rockery beside my pond and tendrils are actually getting into the pond. I pull up or cut out every piece I see but today I noticed some flowers winking across at me. The neighbour also has a Million miles an hour plant (or named something of the sort).
