probably last day online before the move

I’ve had to get an extension before the move cos the bloke who was going to do the heavy stuff has got flu, but I’d told BT that I was due to move on the 22nd, so that’s when the landline gets cut off: don’t know if that’ll happen one minute after midnight or one minute before the next midnight!

So it’ll be about three weeks or a month before I can get back online: need to get a new ISP once the move is done and the PC set up again.

The HA got someone in to tidy the gardens: here’s some pics of before and after – looks a lot better now!

See you again in December!

Wow Fran, I got so excited when I saw your photos - Isn't that your dream come true? Even a shed! You won't know yourself. Will you be able to manage the beds at ground level? Actually its no use asking questions is it - will have to wait weeks for the reply. All the very best .

thank you Stera and Gee and TT.

lol there's two sheds, Stera, one from the HA (the key for that was on the house keys) and another that the previous tenenat must have had installed.

I think I'm going to have to raise some beds; depedns what's in them already. But different levels give more interest and more planting space, more scope for chaning the view.

one removal firm just did a visit: he's going to phone his boss and get him to send me a firm quote: told him it'd have to be today, as backup I'm arranging a visit from a second company'; one of htem should be able to work something.

oh heck!!! lol

thanks Snoop - *s* nice to know I'll have GoY neighbours, sort of, more or less!

lol, tea is the strongest drink I imbibe on a regular basis and there are times when I really *need* a calming cuppa!

Sorry I'm late so you won't see this for ages. Will it really take so long to get connected? Just when you need it most of all. Hope you have a mobile phone, as that is best way to keep in touch. The garden is fantastic now it is cleared. Nicely layed out, just a question of being able to tweak it your way a bit. Lots of storage too.

Is that a garrya eliptica on the fence? We had one in a very similar position and it looked fantastic when the dining room lights shone out onto the tassels.
