Christmas is a children's festival.

Adults should keep it as a Fun Festival. Or Funny Festival.
Last Christmas Day after breakfast, my son went
for a doggy ramble with a football friend round the local reservoir.
On return she invited him to her house for a breakfast. So he went.
On return to take his own dog home a lady who lives alone along the street invited him in for a breakfast. So he went.
I like steaming different varieties of vegetables all together in the microwave steamer, as its fun.
He arrived here at noon, saying he had had 3 breakfasts.
I placed in front of him his Christmas Dinner which included
Chicken, stuffing, sausage , and 12 vegetables for fun.
(I counted Crisps as a vegetable.)
He took its photograph on his camera/phone thingee and
sent it round to his friends.
Never expected him to eat it all, but he did. And the pudding !
This year its 10 vegetables. His Christmas present is a Boot Scraping Doormat + small brush and dustpan to sweep up the dried mud !
All good fun, enjoy !

Thank you Terra, Stera, and Derek. Hope you have fun
too !

My son and Old Boys Group go night orienteering every
Wednesday, on public Rights of Way with head torches switched on. Ending up at the pub.
Love a challenge.

(The boot scraping doormat is a Gardman. I found it in the Garden Centre. They have lots of useful Christmas Gifts. Hope they do a good trade to pay their overheads until spring. Last Saturday families were going round with a
large trolley, getting the whole lot in the one shop.)

Diane ... I searched online for 'Gardman Bootscraper Doormat' ... and it gave me pictures and description of a Gardman tortoise-shaped scraper made of coir, for scraping boots on ! Is that the one ? Tortoise shape ?

Oh My!!!!!!
Its a good job the dog had already had a walk before your son started his eating fest, I'd imagine he would need time to allow his tummy to settle after all those meals, perhaps a snooze as well, lol.
Sounds like a very good xmas present Diane, really useful for his rambling boots...
I hope you and your son have a Wonderful Funfilled Christmas..........

The Gardman boot scraper was on the GC display with the
tortoise scrapers. I didnt get one of those as I thought
he would either fall over it, or use it as a football.

Should be on Ebay Terra. Just read your carol blog again,
lovely fun !

Thanks Diane ...
I laughed at your thoughts of the dangers of the tortoise scraper ! Glad you like my current 'Days of Christmas' Festive Sing-Along blog !
