Relatively new to this gardening thing,about 6years i guess seriously that is!Started witha blank canvas when i moved into my new-build house 6 years ago.Had VERY poor soil as all top-soil had been removed ,left with alot of rubble too!Worked alot of good stuff into ground,and this year is the best it has looked,and best in my block(modest)Have grown large white(over 15 ft now)Buddlea for butterflies,alsoalot of Alliums(purple sensation),some lovelly Geums bright scarlet(Mrs Bradshaw),many many fozgloves(Digitalis) Potentila,Achillea,Night scented stocks,Hostas,gladioli,Gailardias,pelargoniumsand many more ...not bad for a garden thats only30ft long 20 ft wide!!
