Wind has dropped

By csarina

So OH did a bit more digging up. I had to water all the pots the wind had really dried them out.

We will be taking some of the garden stuff with us when we go tomorrow. There is a piece down the side of the bungalow which has had plants in at some time. I bought some weed killer, I want to kill off the weeds and then put down some weed suppressant fabric and cover it with welsh slate, then we can stand some of the pots on it. I also intend to use the weed killer on part of the veg garden which is not being cultivated but eventually laid down to grass.

This garden is going to take some time to tame, watch this space!!

Sounds like a good plan. I like the idea of the Welsh Slate along the side - with no weeds.

You sound very organised at any rate! It must help a lot if you know what you're going to do. By the time you read this you'll be moved, so here's wishing you both all the best in your new home. Looking forward to those pictures!

Steragram we do not move until 29th of June. Get the keys tomorrow. Going over to see what's been done, and decide where the furniture is going.

Will be taking DD2 with us on Friday when we go to meet one of the two carpet estimators.

I could do with endowing our workmen with your project management skills. Hope it all goes well with the carpet estimaters.
