We were at the garden again this morning, the sun was shining when we got there, but a quick shower found us weedking in the poly tunnel for a while and cutting lettuce, pulling turnip and carrots.
The garden is doing well, the spuds are looking good, we put the onions on a piece of wire mesh so they are not sitting in water, once the strings really die back I will plait them and hang them up.
We also weeded the beetroot. The strawberries are at last forming fruit…..the sunny weather we have had this week should help a bit.
We had some sad news this morning Mr. S who owns the garden is very poorly. J, the gardener has been sat with him this morning as he slips in and out of conciousness……….we are womdering what will happen when he dies……..

Sorry to hear Mr S is so poorly ...................on a happier note the veg looks great much further on than mine ...:)
