New use for rabbit hutches.....

Not having room for a greenhouse is most upsetting. But, I discovered that a rabbit hutch works almost as well. Well, there’s got to be some use for having to look after a 13 year old daughter’s pet rabbit.

Anyone else have an unusual potting table………..?

Once my children had outgrown their pet guinea pigs I used the hutches to store pots and seed trays. Its roof is useful for hardening off young plants too,

Phew Toto, I thought maybe I was seeing a "spirit rabbit" instead!! Feeding and watering isn't a waste of time then, heehee!!

Oooooh, Xela, I daren't tell my dd that!!! She'll accuse me of trying to "bump" him off early!!!! (still an excellent idea tho', we paid enough for it!!)

Oh dear, I hope I haven't given the impression that the guinea pigs were bumped off to make room for the pots! Far from it, they all had long, happy lives, we just stopped breeding them.

I'm glad that they had a long and happy lives. I certainly didn't think you had bumped them off as I know there's not a lot of meat on the drumsticks.

Toto, are you always obsessing about food?

Afraid so Wagger. When I moved out of the cardboard box, under the railway arches to my new home in the paper bag by the council refuse dump, I'm afraid that food became too expensive and I now need to rely on memories and fantasies.

My wife is lovely and looks after e me extremely well. I love her dearly. Without her, I would have been dead a long time ago.
