Ready to Go

The moon bed is finally ready for sowing, i.e. it is composted and limed. Actually it should have been ready a week ago but I forgot to do one of the plots on the correct day so had to wait until yesterday to finish. Growing by the moon requires quite a disiplined approach.
The ground is prepared but the soil is still far too wet and cold to sow. Enthusiastic as I am I must exerise my patience and wait for the weather to improve. From experience I have found that plants quickly catch up on a late start and even if I think I am three weeks ‘late’ in sowing the vegies they will be ready for harvesting within a week of their normal time.

No Way, Hywel!!!!
We sleep in the same bed and one of us wears trousers! Just look at our avatars.
Actually husband & wife of nearly forty years and still going strong.
We set up two blogs so that the moon garden stuff can be kept distinct from the eclectic waffle that I am likely to write.
