me and my spindle trees(Euonymus Europaeus)
Since having Jamie walks in the autumn have taken us close to where a number of these trees grow and right now they are spectacular.

late in 2008 I collected a few berries and planted them.

Germination in early 2009 was straight forward and four seedlings were transplanted and grew on to about 6in high last year

This year they are living up to there name and are close to 3ft high

How many years before we have berries i am not sure or even if i should keep them.I recently read that African tribes used to mash up the berries and dip the end of there spears and arrows in them to poison there enemies.another article stated Birds love the Berries
Yet another article states if eaten they cause hallucination’s think Jamie may already have tried them. When he dreams is back legs go stiff and his ears lift up.!!!!

What an interesting tale... it,s amazing, what information
you can read about different plants that were, used for Medicinal purposes & healing properties...quite a few plants are poisonous, especially for our Pets...
Looking at most plants, which seem far too pretty, to be poisonous, they seem to be the worst kind!!!

Well, it does not seem to have harmed Jamie, only giving
him a few frights, as your pic shows..lol
Poor Jamie... : ~ (((
