First daffodils in bloom, 24/01/08.
dwarf variety bought at local supermarket, Am I first or do you know different.

Majeekahead , I wouldnt put it passed you to have been out with the electric blanket to keep them warm , that why the are so far ahead !! lol

Hi Hamish, no i don't think you are the first, my daffs are still green however, but then here in Essex, we have'nt really had winter yet! i can count on one hand the amount of ground frost's we have had since November. we seem to have had a very long autumn, so i still have perennials from last summer going, crocus in flower, elephants ears in flower. my daffs are threating to flower but no colour showing yet. i also have tulips coming up - and the snow drops have only just started to pop up. the tulips are further along than the snow drops! so it seems to be all round the wrong way for us!
