Makes me feel happy!
Sarah.. your smiling avatar pic also makes me feel happy ..
Don't mean to boast but we've had a swarm of ladybirds for the last 2 weeks here!!! lol. Does this mean a good summer?
I've seen a couple of huge bumble bees recently and a hoverfly, a huge bumble bee flew just above my head earlier today.
Shows that the weather is warming up.
i dont like to spoil the party tiger1234 but it might mean lots of greenfly??
Haven't seen any of these sort of things yet but have seen a few bright green caterpillars in my soil recently - can anyone tell me what they are please ?
I saw just one ladybird last year. It was the first for many years. I hope you get lots more, and I hope some fly this way !

tks for your comments, could mean more greenfly, haha, but summer is on its way yippie
The first sign of greenfly in my garden always appears on the new shoots of my climbing rose, but so far- nothing! Good old ladybirds, they seem to be doing an excellent job so far! They seem to have arrived very early this year and in much greater numbers than i have seen for years. Excuse the pun Sticky but the greenfly seemed to have been " nipped in the bud " lol!
I had some greenfly on my climbing white franrance rose a couple of weeks ago, but nothing since.
very good tiger ~ hope thats true!!
hope its true for round here too!!
