Decided it may rain today and it did (7minuets of it) so i pottered about cleaning trays and plant sorting . I got my good lady to pick a decent replacement Telephone to use to contact me when i am outside, then i watched the last half of Ctp jack sparrow from yesterday. Tiny got very angry at my thumb so i had to settle the dispute very quickly. We are thinking of getting a second budgie for company for Tiny but it would result in the two of them not allowing me to read my paper. Rather a luxury to get as far as the sports page as it is. I sat in my shed portable on and biccy box open, cup of tea at hand thinking what a non productive day it is. At this point Lucy (the cat) appeared and together we were amazed to realize that we had a mouse in the garden. Lucy got up walked to the shed door and then sat down and watched it run away (LoL). It really was one of those days. Take care nice people enjoy.

After all that work yesterday I guess I don`t blame you for relaxing , I haven`t tasted a fig roll in years, I always liked them and you`ve set me off wanting now, lol, Lucy is such a plump cat and I guess her laid back attitude is good for the mouse, its a fact it wouldn`t last long in my garden, if my cats didn`t get it I guess Brynner would.
Tiny is stealing the show as usual.....

Glad you got your biccy box hehe another bird well two dominating you lol that will be fun. In order to stop a bird dominating you have to move its cage about so it does nt get familar, also lower the cage lower than you hehe. Was that Tom and Jerry then hehe with the mouse Lucy must of been studing Tom and Jerry and had second thoughts hehe.

Sometimes it's just nice to have one of those days, Tony, you certainly make up for it on other busy days! Did you manage to get the weed and feed on your lawns yet? I'll be interested to see how it works for you, our worst problem is celandines, closely followed by daisies! If they didn't flower the lawn wouldn't look so bad, but as long as the lawn's green I don't really mind! So I'm curious to see how yours goes!
I think I'm going to risk putting the bedding plants out this weekend sometime, their wee roots are bounding out through the bottom of their modules, so I think I'll have to plant them out...before they go and do it themselves! I can't wait to see your flower pouches in bloom, I think they'll be glorious! I hope the weather keeps nice for you Tony, and you all get to do something fun! Take care!
P.s. Do you think the world is ready for two Tinys'? Lol!
Is there enough newspapers for them to shred? Never mind the nibbled Fig Roll scandals! ;0)

hi lincslass yes Lucy and i were also surprised at the cheeky mouse but we haven't seen it since. Wife checks my stock of fig bar frequently due to the fact they soon vanish. I think maybe Tiny is gaining access during the night (LoL). I also tried that one with the rich tea but as usual i didnt get away with it. Be lost without my biccy and cup of tea really. Take care enjoy. Tony

Well shiver me timbers Tiny its our elizabeth. Hi elizabeth (bit of jack sparrow there)how be ye?. Yes its a change to have a free day but i get a bit restless when i am not moving around. Weed and feed applied on the 19th to both lawns elizabeth. My good lady is,nt yet convinced that its making any difference but its early days yet. 80 ml solution to a gallon water. Used approx 4 gal of water to spread it. Will rep bacK to you on results in two days time. Both lawns were full of dandelions so a lady member kindley advised me about W & F. Love it when roots show elizabeth its a rewarding sighn. Glad your plants are on course ok. Yes i am waiting patientley for my pouches to flower, they are virtualey covered in plants now. Tiny sends his love of course and that is more than i get from him at the moment . Had to think again about a second budgie as i was given a ultimatum by my good lady. Take care Elizabeth i will let you know about W&F. Tony
