Not particularly into 'kit' but it's always good to know what cameras & lenses are being used, handheld or tripod, lighting & basic exif? Maybe some info on PP?
I just ordered an X1000 USB microscope on Amazon. Plug it into my tablet & it'll do stills or video with the downloaded software, only £15.99! Looking forward to having a go with it. Been threatening my Brother with some 'Guess What This Is?' pics!

I don't use any of the photo-altering programs, just cropping and straightening. I took about 25 photos to get these few. I use the Nikon D7200, and for these, the 105mm 1:2.8 DG Macro lens. It was stabilized with a tripod because I use manual focus. All natural sunlight. I moved the pots to a better position and angle to the sun, except for the Plumbago, which is a large shrub; and the Amaryllis, which is in the ground.

Nights are drawing in & it's getting cooler here in northern England. You've inspired me to work on some macro photos over Winter when it's crap outside & I have to put the heating on. I've got an old Pentax K-x with a couple of lenses but also have a macro converter that has surprised me with how close I can get in. Might be a good project to build a teeny studio space in a box? Just a small space that has diffused light where I can take my time getting manual focus with a tripod...
TBH a lot of my photography bits have been bought at boot fairs so manual focus is all I've got!
I absolutely love Adobe's products! For me the processing is half the fun but of course free software is quite good & available. Have you ever looked into focus stacking?

We had the winds from Helene on Saturday & Sunday, but it was very dry. It is headed your way, so have fun! Then there is Joyce lurking to the south of us and it doesn't look like it is going anywhere.
