A wander around our autumn garden.

The sun decided to shine so I seized my opportunity before it hid behind a cloud and went out to take some photos. The autumn colours are splendid and as each day passes they will begin to fade.
No words just pictures from now on!

The sun has gone in – I told you it would!

I can almost feel the crunch of the leaves! You've captured the feel of Autumn - lovely plants, Rose.

lovely feel to your garden even as it is putting itself to bed.

Lovely Autumn leaves on most of your trees. Just my Apple and Pear trees are almost denuded of leaves.

All beautiful but I do love the first one - makes me wish I could walk right into it and explore! Doesn't that silver birch remind you of Terra? (Only hers probably had a robin in it, do you remember?) I enjoyed my trip!

What fabulous, beautiful colours..your garden is still full of beauty, even if it does herald winter.

Chris, your garden is just beautiful! Such colour to enjoy, I’m pleased you posted this blog, the first pic really invites you in! You have an artistic way of showing your garden to its full potential…very restful, serene photos! Autumn really suits your garden.

Kate that is very sweet of you to write such a lovely message.
I am anything but 'restful and serene' when I am out there raking up the leaves yet again!!!

Chris, such a lovely variety of plants, trees ,shrubs etc,and beautiful colours to keep you cheerful, in which is usually one of the dreariest months ! This is an exception so far, isn't it? .Even your bees on the Hive are still enjoying the warm sunshine :o) I still have bedding plants still looking good, and it's yet another mild day here,so no complaints from me :o) Enjoy it while it lasts, and I hope you are feeling much better now..xx

Thank you Sandra and I agree with you that this November is still full of summer colour as well as autumn! I am
feeling a lot better now thanks - long may it last! The sun still felt very hot when I took these photos and the bees were out in force - glad to escape from the cramped hive!

I only echo the above sediments. Your Autumn garden is exquisite. A break from garden chores for a few months and time to focus on other things.
