I’m sorry not to have been on here for such a long time. Firstly, I had an operation, which unfortunately took rather longer to recover from than had been expected. Secondly, my computer screen broke, so I wasn’t able to use it. Thankfully I have a super little man who has got me up and running again. He has told me he’s not sure how much longer my ‘old gal’ (that’s my computer, not me!) will keep going, before something else goes wrong. With that in mind, I’m saving up to buy a Tablet…watch this space.

Meanwhile, I took my trusty little camera out into the garden this evening. I’ve not been able to do much in the garden for a few weeks, but I don’t think things are looking to bad.

Thanks for looking.

Hi Julia, so glad you are on the mend! The garden all looks lovely. In spite of the freezing cold winds (continuing) my garden has also decided to grow all of a sudden. Everything is budding up beautifully and stretching towards the sun. Thank goodness.....at last! You'll love your tablet when you get it. No more sitting at a desk with sore back and shoulders, just lounge around browsing to your heart's content. Hope the healing continues well...take care. Btw, was going to message you as your Gazanias are looking incredible and are budding up beautifully. Can't wait to see them in full bloom!

Waddy-what is the gorgeous white flowered plant in picture 8 and 9? I love your gravel garden display. I need to dig my rock garden up and love the idea of the wooden barrel as a feature. Another job on my to do list!!

Glad to hear that you're on the mend Julia, don't overdo things though.I know what you mean about wanting to do things in the garden,I've been struggling for the last 3 months, even the lightest work in the garden puts me back for a couple of days, so take care, your garden doesn't look as if its neglected .I love the Euphorbia...which is it?

Hope the"old gal"(the computer I mean) keeps going till you get your tablet.... they're not cheap are they.My son bought one from Tesco their own brand much cheaper, and he's well pleased with it.

Lovely colourful garden, abit ahead of here I think....
i lovemy tablet, can I suggest you go and 'testdrive' them....
I did and realised I liked the Samsung Galaxy operating system, my phone is a Samsung so they sync....and I find it very easy to use, oh has windows, not as intuitive for me.....
also look at the size, I looked at the 7" and much prefer the 8", the extra screen size makes reading and typing easier but still light to handle. ....
doing the research on prices helps too, they can be so variable.....very happy with mine ☺

You have a very pretty garden with so many lovely features. Please tell me about the tea-cups and tea-pot, they are so unusual and look so sweet! Afternoon tea with a difference!

I do hope that you are beginning to feel so much better now.

Glad to hear you are feeling better. What a good idea to grow a Lewisia in half a pot - just the job where the ground isn't suitable for the, I did like your little waterfall too.

Amsterdam; Glad you like the gravel garden. As for the white flowers...would you believe I can't remember?! I know I grew them from seed last year and this is the first time they've flowered. There are also one or two purple ones mixed in with the white. I'll try to find either my label or they old seed packet...watch this space lol!

Gralew; Sorry to hear you've not been well either. I know just what you mean about over doing it, but it's hard isn't it? As for the two Euphorbia, the 'Green' one, is one I rescued from my son's garden, but I don't know its name. The other with the 'red' flower is 'Fire Cracker'.

Pamg; Thank you for your kind comment. Funnily enough, I've already decided on the Samsung Galaxy 4, with the 10" screen. They vary so much in price, so I've had to do a lot of research. Now I can't wait to get one!

Wildrose; Thank you so much. The cups and saucers etc came about after I saw something similar on line, in a garden, open to the public. The difference was they were gigantic! I told my OH I'd love to try doing something on the same lines. He, bless him, told me to get the crockery and he would do the rest. I bought the crockery from various Charity shops and my OH, drilled them and fastened them to lengths of doweling, which I had painted either red, yellow or green. I' glad you like the finished effect. :)

I hope you're feeling better now, and recovered from your operation. It's nice to have you back :o)
Your plants are putting on a colourful show. That must make you feel better too ...

I thought I'd put a comment on here yesterday ... I must have forgotten to click on the 'add comment' button !
