Bloomer; Than you, but as you now I hate my photo being taken, Carly took the photo and kept telling me to lift my head up, as you can see I did as I was told lol! Might get the sparklers out, but like Freya, I hate anything which bangs!

Ours is still cooking in the oven Waddy, another 4 weeks and she should be here. Hopefully I am going to see her on her visit to the scan man on Friday. lol. so excited, what a treat that will be. Exciting times, Waddy,congratulations! Missed this as I was off to meet our own new granddaughter in NZ (born 1st April this year). She is Francesca (Frankie) Ivy! Just had an amazing ten days with her and her big sister, Chiara (3), but now won't see them again until 2016.?

Belated congratulations Sheila, it must have been wonderful to be with your grandchildren and parents of course. What a pity it will be so long before you see them again. Do you have Skype?

I know what you mean Sheila. We were actually considering retiring abroad before Freya arrived. Now with two of them, I'm so glad we didn't. Just keep crossing off the days until 2016. It will be here before you know it.

We had thought about Italy, it's a country we both love. It would have had to be further south than Gattina lives though, not sure I could stand living up a mountain in some of the winters they have. Another possibility was Spain, but Italy was top of the list.

Molto bellissima! Love Italians . . . our delightful daughter-in-law is from an Italian family. Her parents have a dairy farm in the Adelaide Hills, where she lived from the age of One, so she's a proper Aussie now. Blog coming soon when I wake up a bit :)

Sheila, I'm off on holiday VERY early in the morning, so I'll read you blog when I get back in a weeks time. I shall look forward to that.
