Hi , My name is Tony and my other half is Margy.
Coming up for retirement time and just moved into our retirment bungalow in Hook, Hampshire. The first photo was taken the day we moved in. Note the priorities...!!! - I love a challenge and hope that this site can help me acheive that ambition.

We have vastly differing views on gardening which is one of the reasons that we bought a place with a large garden.

My dad was an old fashioned estate gardener and as such all of my knowledge came from him. I like neat, tidy and regular formations of plants and in there properly designated areas.

OH likes not neat, not tidy, probably not weeded ... just throw it in and see what happens.

We are coming up to the end of our first year in the bungalow in June 2011 and so far we are on target for having the groundwork completed during this planting year.
