What a splendid Aide Memoire TT....very handy indeed.
You DO keep yourself busy don't you ...what's your recipe for energy please ...LOL
Not too sure about the Carol Klein prog.though......her OTT manner grates on me ...having said which the agenda for the GW's Special might just entice me to watch!!!

Thanks Stephen and Alz...
I like Carol's enthusiasm...... in fact I would be interested to learn her recipe for energy ! Lol.
...I've no further details about the above Gardeners' World programme, but there are very few gardening shows on TV at the moment, so worth a look :o)

You certainly must have lots of energy. Thank you for a really good blog, so useful.
I love Carol Klein, she is so enthusiastic. Maybe a bit over the top, but quite genuine. She's so knowledgeable too.
The info about the GoYpedia is very useful too, I hope I'll be able to add something to it.

22 Nov, 2009

Will look forward to Carol's programme. Also thanks for the "plug" TT, I have only just joined the happy band of Editors. At the moment I edit Folklore of Plants and Variegated plants, shrubs and trees. I was down for "bird pictures "but I see Jacques already edit's "birds", so have asked Ajay/Peter to delete this duplicated category. I will chose some other category soon.::)

22 Nov, 2009

Thanks, Mad and Holly...
I'm still supervising Conker the Sheltie's convalescence, so I'm spending more time indoors at the computer than I might do at other times.

Hi AA ~ Yes, I noticed you had the "bird pictures" category... very similar to Jacque's "birds" pages...
This weekend I've taken on Rock Garden pictures and Rockery Ideas, so I'll need to investigate if those are merely duplicates of each other !

22 Nov, 2009

look forward to the program , thanx Terra, i dont know how you all find time to do so many pages, you all do such a great job to,, :o))) ps, hope conker doing well Terra, hugs from myself and angelina x

Hi Sandra...
Yes, I've been busy with GoYpedia and blogs.
This is my fourth blog in just over a week.... though I had been working on my Calendar blog for quite a while...

Can't keep up that pace, but there will be a new blog for Conker soon.... to save members' computers from exploding as they scroll down 1,000 + comments.Lol.
Conker is convalescing well thanks, and I hope Angelina is perky. xxx

22 Nov, 2009

So do I look forward to it and love your little pot dolls hehe.

22 Nov, 2009

lol. Morgana...
The above pics are all from my home page photos, except for Carol Klein, who was photographed by GoY member Gwendas.

We have to keep an eye out for those FPP.s. They turn up in the most unexpected places........
.....on GoYpedia Flower Pot People blogs, Jacque explains how she found an FPP hiding in her greenhouse....Lol.

22 Nov, 2009

lol Terratoonie, I shall be looking out for them when I go out so don't you worry, I have my eyes peeled. I have seen the dolls on your page too when I first came on here and made me laugh, I wish children was as easy as flower pot people. hehe

22 Nov, 2009

Good informative blog TT.....all those categories to look after must keep you busy.

Pleased to read Conker is convalescing well,I will keep an eye out for your new Conker blog! I noticed it had exceeded 1000 comments again! Does he know how popular he is? x x

22 Nov, 2009

Hi Pottygardener...
When I edit the GoYpedia pages, I find I also learn a lot about gardens and gardening.. and,..yes, Conker's current blog is well over 1,000 comments, just like his previous blog... so a new blog is not too far away...x x x

24 Nov, 2009

Hello Hywel...
http://www.bleb.org/tv/channel.html?ch=bbc2_wales&all&day=3
I looked up this BBC Wales ref. on internet and it seems you have Carol's programme on at the same time as England.

Today I've been working on my new GoYpedia category of Show Gardens.
I'm sure I'll find lots more to add as time goes on. :o)

24 Nov, 2009

Thanks for the information. It isn't always so.
I'll have to nominate some things for Goypedia.

24 Nov, 2009

Ooooohh Carol! Can't wait! - until Saturday, as will have to record and watch later. Very impressed by all the italics, bold lettering, etc., btw !! :-))

24 Nov, 2009

Hi David....
I had fun on this blog, trying different fonts and bold and italics...
... and both together... bold-with-italics... Lol. :o)

24 Nov, 2009

OOOOOOOooooooooooooooooh, just "look" at you now!!!!!!!!! :-D)

24 Nov, 2009

I had to do research before I could work out how to make those font sizes etc...Lol.

25 Nov, 2009

Thanks for this Terra I'm sure we all appreciate all your hard work on here:-)

25 Nov, 2009

Great Terra,
Thanks for the reminder. I can watch Gardeners World and other gardening progs when they are being transmitted, but BBC I' Player is not available to those of us who log in from abroad! (shame) The same applies to the ITV 'player' too,
Chris xx

26 Nov, 2009

Hi Bornagain and Chris ~
Interesting to know which British TV shows can be seen when overseas...

26 Nov, 2009

Bit if a bone of contention this....... We subscribe to a TV rebroadcasting system 20 Euros a month. We get more or less the same as Freeview customers in the UK and have a small 45 cm dish. If I had enough space to fit a 1.9 meter dish I could get loads of channels but 'not' Sky.
There is a big battle going on in the EU which is bringing in compulsery "TV without Borders" in the next year which BBC, ITV and SKY etc are resisting. However if you have ever tried to 'compel' the Spanish to do anything, you will know just how difficult it is!!
I am on to my 5th Chelsea flower show DVD, pity they don't do the other big shows too.
Love and Hugs to Conker, Truffle and Crocus - Take care and make sure 'You' rest:-)
Chris xx

27 Nov, 2009

Hi Chris...
Interesting to have that update on the European TV..
Conker, Truffle and Crocus send greetings, love & hugs.......

..not sure if you've yet caught up with Conker's new blog and the hunt for the puddy tat ? If you find it... don't let on EXACTLY where it is...Lol. xxx

27 Nov, 2009

Good one, Carol... enjoyed your programme....thanks :o)

27 Nov, 2009

a very enjoyable hour's viewing, one of the best yet, well done Carol :))))

28 Nov, 2009

Hi Grindle... yes ..I agree !

Pursuing my theory that the Gardeners' World people do read many blogs on GoY.....
Hello Gardeners' World....
...MORE SIMILAR PROGRAMMES PLEASE......
...this was an interesting show.... Thank you. :o)

28 Nov, 2009

I so enjoyed gardeners world last night TTmore of these programes please so interesting and enjoyable although when I am out gardening would not like to wear long skirts LOL:)

28 Nov, 2009

Hi Scotkat ~
Yes, it was a fascinating programme.... and I agree.... those long skirts would not suit me for gardening ! Lol. :o)

28 Nov, 2009

it would be nice to think they were taking it on board TT, we can live in hope :)))

28 Nov, 2009

GW people are reading all this.... audience research....Lol...:o)

28 Nov, 2009

Interesting and informative blog Terra, and I for one can vouch for the help you give. Like you I find Carol very enthusiastic she always makes me feel I want to get stuck in. I cant stand the whatever minute makeover from Toby Buckland I always make a cuppa at this point.

28 Nov, 2009

Thanks Stroller...
Yes, Carol's enthusiasm is infectious... she makes me want to be there with her...joining in her gardening tasks...
I wonder if you can make and drink a cuppa more speedily than Toby can complete his garden challenge ? Seems you are organised enough you could probably drink several cuppas AND bake a cake..Lol.

28 Nov, 2009

I really enjoyed the 'gardeners world' special TT, Thank you...I love Goypedia and am forever nominating...brilliant!!...:>)

28 Nov, 2009

Hi Motinot ~
Yes, GoYpedia has lots of categories...
thanks for helping by nominating so often...!

On my blog no.21 I've written details of this coming week's TV shows, including the next Gardeners' World special... Let's hope they make lots more of the documentary type of garden-theme programme. :o)

28 Nov, 2009

Well done TT!! Joining the team....what a wonderful job to do...lucky you! And that rhymes.....:o)
Mmmmm....watched the prog, wasn't too enamoured with it I'm afraid, probably that I just read about most of it a few weeks before though. Like seeing Carole best at Glebe Cottage.

29 Nov, 2009

Hi Janey...
Yes, maybe you already knew too much about the programme before you watched it. Lol.
Let's hope there will be more shows with Carol in her lovely garden at Glebe Cottage. :o)
