3 Jan, 2012

3 Jan, 2012

Hi Scottish ..
Just something cheery on a wintry day !

Glad it made you smile. :o)))

3 Jan, 2012

At least my house is still in tact!

Hi Franny .... yes ...so versatile ...

3 Jan, 2012

Sandra, the trouble I have with Truffle is that he is OVER-enthusiastic ... tows things across my lounge and crashes into all my furniture ...Lol.

3 Jan, 2012

Brilliant ... just the thing to see on this dreary day ... the final shots made me smile the most! ... :o)

4 Jan, 2012

This is brilliant TT - it's amazing to see just how much they enjoy it all, swaying from side to side !!

I do hope all is well with you Goyers as it's quite worrying reading all your comments about the dradful weather ....xxxx

4 Jan, 2012

Hi Terry60 ...
Glad you like the film. Lol.

In the UK this kind of thing helps to keep us going through the stormy weather ! This week, the best advice is to stay home unless a journey is really necessary, but it was "back to work" day yesterday for many folk, so they had no choice but to brave the gales and heavy rain ! xxx

4 Jan, 2012

that is so funny! what a clever dog, i loved the skateboarding bit best:-)) i could watch it again and again and again

4 Jan, 2012

Hi Dawn... Great isn't it ! :o)
The dog is clever to steer, and to get up speed by using the back foot ...

4 Jan, 2012

amy
Amy

Really funny I love the way they scoot the board to get up speed before getting on it ,they look as they they are enjoying it tremendously

4 Jan, 2012

Hi Amy...
yes, the way the dogs gain speed is amazing ...
and great to see their enthusiasm :o)

4 Jan, 2012

LOL. Brilliant!

4 Jan, 2012

Hello Digginfit...
I'm pleased you enjoyed this... Lol. :o)))

4 Jan, 2012

Brill really enjoyed that he's a clever dog is'nt he.

4 Jan, 2012

Hi Clarice...
It's a fantastic film isn't it ... :o)))

4 Jan, 2012

Hilarious! I can't imagine Millie doing anything like this - she tires after 5 minutes of playing 'throw' and has to take a 2 hour nap :)

4 Jan, 2012

Hi again, TT, forgot to say - Poppy laid an egg this morning :(

4 Jan, 2012

Hello Gee ...
I reckon body weight and shape and leg-length must all be in proportion for dogs to be able do this ....

It would be difficult for Dachshunds, or long-legged dogs, or long-coated breeds... :o)

4 Jan, 2012

Hi again Gee ...
Well done Poppy... but Poppy please note ..

... with our fuel bills coming in ...
... golden eggs would be especially welcome. ;o)

4 Jan, 2012

I've been following some advice regarding trying to stop the egg laying and I really thought it had worked. I am so afraid she will wear herself out! If only they were golden eggs...... :)

4 Jan, 2012

Maybe the advice has at least reduced the number of eggs Poppy produces ... that should be of help ...

Feed her carrots .. to produce carats ;o)

4 Jan, 2012

Brilliant TT, certainly brought a smile to our faces, lovely to see the dogs really enjoying themselves.

4 Jan, 2012

Wow like you say what a lot of fun and what a clever dog, he is obviously loving every minute;0)))

4 Jan, 2012

Thanks for that Tt:-) I never thought of bulldogs as particularly intelligent or active come to that...how wrong you can be!:-)

9 Jan, 2012

Lol...That dog's got better balance than me!

9 Jan, 2012

Me too \0/ wheeeeeeee:-)

9 Jan, 2012

Wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee/crash/bang/Woooooooooooops

9 Jan, 2012

Yes, it's great to see dogs having fun...
... I think Bulldogs are helped with balance by having a low centre of gravity ... ;o)

9 Jan, 2012

Mine's quite low too TT ;O))))))))

9 Jan, 2012

Hi Annella ..
too much information ;o)))

9 Jan, 2012

I'm not so much amazed at the bulldogs balancing abilities as at his grasp of what makes the board move, his steering ability and his obvious enjoyment...I'm still nonplussed! :-)

I've added to Uggie links to the main part of this blog.

It's easier that way ..

...just click on the UGGIE links near the top of the page.

10 Jan, 2012

Terra you wicked woman...I clicked on Uggie links (isn't he fantastic and a parson!) and I've spent hours looking at beagle puppies and other cute and talented animals...the day's gone lol. I'll probably have a look tomorrow too:-)) I wonder if you could put something on youtube that we could watch? I'm sure someone could help you do it and we could watch the boys perfoming:-)

10 Jan, 2012

I fell into the same trap BA! I used to have a Beagle and later on two King Charles, such funny puppies ;o)

11 Jan, 2012

Yesterday Conker was having fun performing tricks at the garden centre ...

... I had tried to pick a quiet moment, just to entertain the woman at the till, but as soon as Conker started, a crowd appeared, and Conker got lots of applause... Lol.
I took a few photos ... not a video ..

Annella .. did you teach the Beagle and CKCS ?

So, Ba ...you got hooked on the doggie tricks Youtubes..
there are some wonderful ones out there :o)

11 Jan, 2012

They were all very intelligent and entertaining dogs but Velvet the Beagle had a mind of her own and refused to do anything she wasn't interested in. She would lay on the settee when she was older and stretch out if anyone tried to join her, giving that 'don't even think about it' look! Lol
Lovely dog, she lived to the grand old age of 19. Willy (a rescue dog who was already named!) & Barney just practised the 'cute' look but were very well trained. All gone now but never forgotten x

11 Jan, 2012

Oh, lovely memories of your doggies, Annella. Velvet is a wonderful name for a Beagle ! and 19 is an amazing age... you must have looked after her very well, including supplying the right size settee. Lol.

Well done you on taking rescue dogs. Cavaliers are DEFINITELY cute :o))) x

11 Jan, 2012

I think Willy was eternally grateful TT, such a loving little friend. He did sulk for a while when Barney came along at 9 weeks old but they became best buddies and looked like a matching pair in the end :0))

11 Jan, 2012

That's a great achievement ... to bring on a rescued dog so well that people couldn't tell the difference between Willy and Barney, and the fact that Willy was the one who had experienced an unsettled start in life ... :o))

11 Jan, 2012

Mum, mil and myself used to take turns holiday dog sitting so kennels were rarely needed. I remember good fun times looking after a beagle (Velvet), miniture long haired daschund (Rusty...my mum's), Blue rhone cocker spaniel (Shalley......Kennel club name was Shalimar the goddess etc etc, mum in law's) & 2 King Charles (Willy & Barney) in my very small cottage! Rusty the sausage was very old so I used to put him in a large cardboard box to give him a bit of peace from the 'others' running around. Bless him, he lived to be 20 years old. Not sure how I coped now! Lol x

11 Jan, 2012

Well, Annella, you seem very good at getting dogs to live long and happy lives, so you were definitely doing something right ! :o) x

11 Jan, 2012

Love these dogs, my grandson always finds them to show to me, gives one a really good laugh, cannot however see Brynner or Morgan ever getting a starring role, lol..

13 Jan, 2012

Lol. Lincslass ...
Brynner and Morgan ... both on the skateboard at the same time... trying to travel in different directions.. ;o)
