I am a garden designer with a flat sandy north facing garden in a frost pocket, which I'm trying to make into a productive veg and flower garden, though everything is a. done on a shoestring and b. has to withstand footballs/tennis balls/cricket balls (though I have been partially successful in restricting these to the front garden) I am always always interested in gardening tips and read gardening books avidly (I wish there were better books out there about how to care for your plants)
