Last week we went" UP NORTH"[said it a northen accent] to stay in a cottage by the sea,We left home at the same time, and said we would meet up for lunch in Durham,it was a dry overcast day but the grandchildren[Grace/Michael] were full of excitment about the cottage, so we did a QUICK tour of the city and carried on “UP NORTH”to Beadnell just north of Alnwick were i was to meet Louise[Amberalice]on the Wednseday. The cottage was fab and the beach was clean, sandy and only a few yards away so we were on the beach every day come rain come shine playing with sandcastles and kites. We visted quite a few castles “UP NORTH”but the best by far was Alnwick Castle/Gardens.I was to meet Louise in the Pavilon Cafe and as i sat there looking at everyone ,we both saw each another at the same time,we introducted our hubbies and then we nattered for about an hour, wish it could have been longer but we had to catch up with the children in the Castle. The Castle was fantastic lots to see and do, i have a few pics of the week but none of my meeting with Louise [to busy nattering]I think it’s great to beable to put a face to the name when i read her blogs Thanks Louise !! and of course Brian .xxx

By the way for those of you who read my profile my daughter gave birth to a boy his name is James Leo 8lbs 8ozs thats 4 grandchildren now 2 of each .
