Hi
Just testing the waters this is my first blog,Its raining here so not much gardening today just deadheading my cosmos the lawn looks fresh and green and i cant wait to get out in the garden i have a water feature near the patio which needs cleaning Does anyone know how to treat alga?i keep buying things from the shops but they dont last long i did think of filling it in with decortive pebbles but it seems a shame to miss the sound of the water. any ideas??

welcome.
if you can bear to leave it alone it will eventually clear. constantly changing the water reintroduces nutrients that algae feed on.
or you may be able to put a uv bulb [inline] in the filter system. this will kill the algae for you.
