I was busy weeding the veg beds yesterday and noticed compost being flung out through the greenhouse door. On going to investigate a blackbird flew out squawking obviously telling me off! I had a lovely tray of Lupins growing from seed almost ready to pot on. Well Mr Blackbird had other ideas this is what I found>:0(

I managed to rescue some but most were decimated!

Here are a few things in my garden at the moment.

Your garden looks great Sue and I really like how you`ve set out the photo`s. Blackbird obviously likes something in your compost, shame about your lupins though....

What a bad Blackbird, you have some lovely flower's I also like the way you have set them out.I am just starting with Clematis and one has it's first flower I was chuffed to bit's. Am I right in thinking that the fairy is Mavis the fat fairy from Will'O The Wisp? :-)

Thank you all for your lovely comments. I went to the market early this morning bought 2 lupins and 2 foxgloves in 3ltr pots £2.50 each! So I will put them in tomorrow. I’m thinking of putting one of those thin strip door screens up to stop the birds.

Mariek~&~Linsclass~ I tend to put my photos like that because the files are to big otherwise. I use Picasa free to download and easy to use.

Teds ~ The veg is doing really well so far lets hope it lasts.

Youngdaisyd and Mavis52~ Yes this is Mavis from Will'O The Wisp. My youngest son (who is 27) bought her for my birthday in April said She looks like me on a good day! Cheeky little .......!
