Thank you for all your kind words, they have really cheered me up.Have been out trying to get a nice statue like I did for harry, but couldn’t find a persian cat. I have seen them, maybe later on in the summer there maybe more on sale in the garden centers.Today I found i’m a mum (well sort of). I have just seen about six tiny frogs around the pond. I was surprised as I thought the fish had got them all, but as I was clearing round the pond they were leaping everywhere. Didn’t get any last year as the frog layed the spawn where the fish could get to, as it did this year but I blocked it off with a bit of plastic. So watch out sluggys froggys gonna get cha!!

Every year for as many years as I can remember, we have had frogs spawning in our small pond and every year, only a few have survived because the fish have, either eaten the spawn or the tadpoles. This year I have no fish and the frogs, although in the pond, Have not produced any spawn.

That's puzzling, Toto !

Sue, some of the cat magazines or cat websites might have details of where you can get the cat statue you need. Might be listed under Longhair, rather than Persian.

I'm very pleased you have "babies"... I can send slugs if the little frogs need feeding. Lol.
