what a difference a new pump can make the pond is much cleaner and you can now see the fish. I`m also pleased with the new bird table i`ve made from old tree branches. I set this in a bucket of concrete so that I could bury it and it looks as if its growing there.

Your pond is very very nice, and yes clear too. Do you put the clarity down to the pump, or do you have some oxygenating plants too?
Love the bird table. That piece of wood was just asking to be a bird table wasn't it?

thanks all for the lovely comments they give a warm feeling of encouragement. Hope anyone who tries making the bird table finds satisfaction in the idea.
Yes Mad we have got oxygenating plants dont know the real names I call them soldiers and fairies.
