Hubby cleared out the shed and found my moms old singer machine which I was loathe to throw away, so off came the sewing part a shallow box was attached and hey presto a new planter appeared, a few slatey bits to cover the ugly drains and an untidy corner was made presentable.

Gosh, I too have an old Singer in our shed that was my Mum's. Kept thinking I'd have a go at using it one day but I don't think that's ever going to happen! Fab idea.

My mum still has her mums singer, i used to love turning the handle for her when I was younger but get over excited and go to fast and just miss her fingers!!!
