hi all
well what a cracker of a day today, burnt forehead, arms etc but by god it was a good day, and guess what, all the customers had gone home by 4.45 pm today.
We had a really excellent day today with the plants too, lots of folks around asking questions, buying plants and remarking about how nice the place looks, i really feel proud.
It looks like the weather will take a turn for the worst tommorow but i for one will not moan, we need all the rain we can get.
That brings to mind last sunday in the torrential rain then, the roof in our greenhouse at work leaked and it started to pour in, so i turned off the lights and started to brush away the water that was starting to puddle near the till point, i was brushing like mad towards the door when this customer turned to me and said, " i can see you are busy but, could you come and tell me about this electric proporgator" you just gotta smile haven’t you..

yes actually they did buy the proporgator, and i got the water cleaned up too, so its win win..
