Sorry I may not be around for a week or two

Heard yesterday that our much loved younger son (38) was killed yesterday in a motorcycle collision with an HGV.
Please don’t all send me lots of messages right now – just a prayer if you are that way inclined.

Blessings, Sue

Your support has been amazing - thank you. The funeral was on Friday and there were 500 people!! My OH took the service, bless him. No hymns but lots of music including the Mozart clarinet concerto perfectly played by one of Paul's oldest friends. It was a very memorable day and quite unlike any funeral I've ever been to. As Paul was a professional drummer the collection will finance a foundation to help young drummers who can't afford lessons, kit etc.

Thanks again for your loving thoughts and prayers.

That sounds like a wonderful celebration of Paul's life. I'm sure it was uplifting for you all. xx

Sue, it is impossible to know what to say in such circumstances but of one thing you can be sure; many, many people are holding you and your family in their thoughts and prayers. What a tribute to your son and to yourselves that 500 people attended the funeral. Your son must have been a very special person and what you are doing with the collection shows what special people you are. Still thinking of you - and for a long time to come. X

Sue, what can I say, your son was obviously much loved as the attendance at his funeral demonstrated. My heart goes out to you and your family. X
