I live in Phoenix, AZ where the Sonoran Desert ground is made of layers of clay, cockroaches and occasional scorpions. :) Also, the hot, hot summers, over 300 days of sunshine and not much rain make for challenging gardening. Alas, I have been here 18 years after living in garden-soil rich, rainy albeit freezing in the winter Minnesota for the first part if my life and I am finally ready to take on the challenge of gardening in this harsh land! I hope to get some great ideas and inspiration from this website!
