Snoozyvic's Profile

I have a very small courtyard garden, steeply terraced into narrow beds at the back dug into the hill rising to the north-east behind my end terrace house. This makes for an interesting microclimate that I'm hoping to get to grips with this coming year, although I have discovered that the tree ferns love it. I also have an allotment in a large, open site where I grow only veg at the moment, but would like to grow flowers for cutting this year. Slugs have been hell on the allotment this last year, with our resident frogs who hang out in the old bath/pond being totally overwhelmed. We'll see this year, I'm saving up the egg shells already, in anticipation.
