…is a photo of Calamondin Oranges on one of my 2 trees in our cool Conservatory.
This tree is covered with fruit. They are quite small, not sweet but are lovely chopped into tonic water.

The other tree has a few fruits on it but is smothered with new flowers which are just opening. The fragrance is delightful. I have been using a small brush to transfer pollen between the flowers, that is those I can reach as the trees are taller than me.

I also have a lemon Meyer tree. All are in large tubs, placed on wheeled trollies, so they can be moved outside for the summer months.

SHEILA, the 2nd orange tree is also a Calamondine. You get blossom then developing fruit on Calamondines at the same time, only my 2 plants seem to be out of phase with each other or maybe its because the plant that ends up in the corner after their Summer vacation dosn't easily get hand pollinated by me.

Thanks Dd, too small and insufficient liquid really, but the rind is tangy so that goes in the triple Citrus marmalade I like to make.

Thank you Terra, no fragrance today, we had our first frost last night snd the tubular heaters came on in the conservatory, set to come on at 7 oC, just keeps the chill off.

I can imagine that the scent in there is heady. You have two beautifully healthy trees, a credit to your care. We had our first frost last night. Brrr.
