Remontant Iris

Some Iris are Remontant, that is they can flower a second time. I think this is a misnomer and would prefer to call them out of Season flowerers.
Here are some individual plants of my variety crosses flowering today ( 31 July ) for the first time.
The last one of the 3, I have never seen previously, the first two have similar seed pod siblings which flowered at the usual time in Spring at my home..

They are all ones from seedling pots I had no room for in my garden.

There are three other plants which are producing flower heads. I think they will be fully developed in a couple of weeks, can’t wait to see if they different to their pot siblings.

The 3 below flowering on 11 August 2019

Like it’s parent Immortality, said to be a reliable remont in the Uk.

This has Foggy Dew as one of the parents.

There are still another 2 or 3 with flower stalks developing.

Here they are Early September.

There is a second no A3 and A9 also flowering.

Nos 11 to 14 are all whites, varying slightly in form. Flowers opened Sept 7 to Oct 3rd.

November 15, a similar flower to 19AL8 but with browner falls.

Unfortunately the pic is out of focus.

Absolutely beautiful Siris.

They are in my allotment, the contents of the pots of seedlings for which there was no room in my garden. I put one of each seedling in my home garden, where most flowered this Spring. Crosses made 2016 and seed harvested late summer.

First one is lovely Siris but I do favour the last two, such delicate colouring.

Thank you Terra. I've another just flowering (Nov 15) but my pic is out of focus, but I've included. When I go to the allotment next I will try to get a better pic. I've also 2 different ones trying to open at home, but they are a squidgy mess with all the rain, so I've cut them off.
