Siris' New Toy

Got a new app today, so I thought I would have a play with it.
Here is my collection of Gladiolus.

The purple one is Kings Lynn, the others from a mixed packet.

They are at the edge of my Iris clumps, so add interest to the border after the Iris have finished. I leave my Glads in the ground overwinter. They die down tidily and do not leave rotting vegetation lying over the Iris which they would hate.
Thought I had better justify the blog!

Gorgeous, what a fine display. My fave is the blue one.

Steragram, that's Kings Lynn, it is more purple than the photo.

They really are lovely, I bought some of the smaller ones and planted them in the springtime and so far I only have two in bloom...

Lincs L, I have some in the back garden, less sunny; they have not started flowering yet, but these in the front almost finished.

Great collection on gladioli !
Now that's a good app that would be good for me I could add all the seedlings from each of my crosses to one picture!,easier to compare and decide which to keep mmm.

Thats what I thought about the app. i have also used it to compare the 2 clumps of Little Missy and the same clump of Little Fruit Cup on 2 consecutive years.

That's a very handy app to have.
Love seeing your glads, I used to grow 100's of them way back for the flower shops but had to cut them as soon as colour showed so didn't get to see them fully open.
Can't decide on a fav cos they are all lovely!

I must admit I never cut my flowers for the house. The garden is where they belong. Only bring in casualties of wind etc.

A lovely selection of glads, I have several photo apps, they are so useful, you can name your photos as well which helps, though most of mine are on my phone....

Yes this app has just been updated to incorporate naming options.

Good to hear...

And rotation facilities, so if I enlarge a portrait photo on my camera, and put it on the app, it appears the correct orientation.

Now that is worthwhile..

It seems to have solved the problem I had with sideways-on picture from my Ipad to other people's systems, at least no one has said my pic are side-on any more, or they are too polite to say.

11 Sep, 2015

Ummmmmm I wouldn't like to say!! lol

13 Sep, 2015

Dd, does that mean some are side on still, please tell me.
