Baby love, my baby Dove!

Another lovely day ahead? I am the one out in front carrying the banner, “Make hay while the sun shines!” Meaning, make the most of it and perhaps ‘hay’ is something to do with ‘mayhem’ – or is that too deep for you? My mind works on a different system, when it works, if at all. Enough, I’ve got myself in a fix now.

Shall put on some pics of baby collared dove which could be the one that bonked our window the other day. Found an imprint on the sewing room window yesterday. This morning the baby was looking a bit forlorn with no sign of the parents. I got it through the study window once again very early. I also took some bird pics through the ground floor shower room open window yesterday, (it’s next to the study), so no reflections on the photo. Yes, I have my shower with the window open so that I can see the garden and the birds through the glass shower panels and the open frosted window. Confused? It is a good thing no one takes pictures the other way round.

That was one of the resident Wood Pigeons.

Here is baby Collared Dove.

Now the one who says he does all the work around here! Ooh look.. his nose has grown longer1

I remind him of when we had 3/4 acre of lawn with a nine hole putting green if he complains about this pathetic swathe at the front of the house.

I must get on with urgent other matters now.
Have a good day!
