GOOD NIGHT OUT?

We went to friends’ Ruby Wedding celebration on Friday night at a local hotel. Had a great time, lots to drink, lots of dancing. I didn’t have any food as there was only curry and I’m ill if it’s too hot (thought I’d be OK without food as I’d had fish and chips for tea). Was feeling good, I’d had a good time … until … I tried to walk home. As the fresh air hit me, I went down like a horse, twice. Husband managed to get me home eventually. When I checked myself the next day … two bruises like eggs on both knees, both elbows bruised and bleeding, both hands with bleeding scrapes on them, two egg-like lumps on my head, and my poor feet -both raw and bleeding (was wearing healed strappy sandals that I only usually wear getting to the car and back). Who says you learn as you get older. I blame the fresh air – I was OK till that hit me!!!

I'm fine today. For work tomorrow, I'll be wearing a long skirt to cover me knees and a long sleeved top to cover me elbows!!!

Oh dear Sheilar..first time i have heard fresh air get the blame..lol at least you have recovered well..i think it would take me a week to get over a hangover these days..at least you had a good night out..good job your Oh was sober enough to get you home..lol :o)
