windy or what!!!

Was going to cut the grass today but it was soooooo windy i decided against it, i did trim the edges but that was enough the other thing was there were hundreds and i mean hundreds of little black flies everywhere!!! i was just thinking to myself..the swallows, swifts and house martins should be here when lo and behold one flew overhead (think it was a housemartin, short tail pale breast) just been outside now (7pm) and not a fly to be seen!!
My friend brought me some white cosmos with a pink edge seedlings, and some Nicotina oh and a Fuschia (which i have already forgotten the name of will have to ask her again!) i gave her some swan river daisies and some Cosmos sensation. Swapsies!!!
Took some photos of garden, the long border is filling out its full of Perennials and i dot some annuals around such as the Cosmos.

The ‘snow in summer’ is flowering good ground cover

And last but not least my pride and joy the Virburnum Maressii is flowering its beautiful head off!!!

Your border is coming along beautifully.

It has been very windy here too today.

Swopping plants is such a good idea. I'm hoping to do this later on with my brother and sister - in law. Whether I can cram any more plants in is another matter! :)

Your border looks really lovely. I'd love to see a pic of that in full bloom, SK. :o)

I'm a bit partial to that Viburnum of yours too, lol. Wanna swap? I've got a lovely, unhealthy Centaurea you can have.
