Beautiful spring day....garden calls!!!

After a worrying time 2 weeks ago now, being taken into hospital i am at last feeling like my old self (old being the operative word there!!) i was rushed in with suspected clot on the lungs but turned out to be extreme anxiety! Not at all nice and don’t let any one tell you its not a real illness!
Anyway enough of that i have been in the garden the last 2 days with my trusty sidekick Rocky, we have cut the grass and tidied up the borders which are sadly very neglected but now look so much better and ready for all the plants to carry on growing and flowering. Just a few pictures to show progress, now sat with a coffee and laptop catching up with GOY before cooking sausage casserole for tea :o)

So sorry to hear you had to go through that, SK. Being told you might have a clot on the lung is enough to cause anxiety on its own. Glad you're home and in the garden again, it certainly looks very tidy. I bet Rocky helped a lot :) Take care.

I love the gravel area Ydd, best thing we've done am thinking of doing another bit between the garage and the shed which is just a waste of ground (used to have an old greenhouse on it) thanks for your good wishes everyone much appreciated :o)

Extreme anxiety suggests you've been having a tough time - glad things are getting better. Isn't it wonderful how a few hours in the garden can lift your spirits? Better than any medicine!

It all looks great - what a difference it makes when you do the lawn edging. Everyone on here seems to have neat lawns - must try harder!

I'm sorry to hear you had that scare.
I was once taken to hospital with a suspected heart attack, but it was anxiety, like you had :o( Nobody can know what it's like unless they have it.

Your garden is lovely. I hope you'll be able to enjoy it this spring :o)

I find that gardening is very theraputic, so I hope your time spent there has helped you to feel better, and that you can enjoy more days in the spring sunshine.
