well as its my first karen i really dont know, this is 4ft all the way round and about 18inchs deepest part so not over big, ive got the same pump/filter as carol(clarice) its an easy clear and neither of us has any probs, also carol told me of a liquid to add which helps keep clear to which i used once, cant remember what its called, so touch wood its fine at the moment,

i bet you could make one with damsons to , and love damson jam cristina ;o)

my new ones arrived today amy, wouldnt call them large plugs put ive potted them on to get them going, the seller said may flower this year haahah i dont think so lol, anyway ive got them , so hope for 3 plants to grow, ;o))

thanx linda and karen, its on 28th but his dad taking him to london to see chelsea play, they are in the VIP area, having all star treatment then staying in 5 star hotel over night, so thats why im doing party on the bank holiday monday, ive bourght him a pocket watch which he has always wanted, a stein which all his dads family have for 18th and also a lump sum of money to take to aberdeen with him, spoiled or what hahah

karen mine gets sun almost all day and is fine, no algae as yet but i have my filter on all day in summer, will only switch off in winter, also i have snails which eat everything in sight, its as clear as crisytal, think having lots of plants around helps to, gives a little shade through day ;o)) that octigon idea sounds good to karen
