oops thanx shirley hahaha all done now :o__)

fish still ok amy, but im having probs , when i melt some ice i place a ball that clarice gave me but it just gets frozen in ice lol, so will have to take their chances i think, cant keep it from freezing can i :o(

boil some spuds up and crush when cold , the birds love them, old cake, anything fatty chopped small, even ask your neighbours to save scraps for you, im sure they wont mind

good advice ian and thanx, hope your snow goes soon, ok here at the moment

thats the problem jem, thats why iv turned mine off as the fish can survive without pump in winter, as its so cold there is enough oxygen unlike summer the heat takes oxygen away and of course fish are more active, i just keep checking to make sure i can see them and that they are ok, be glad when ice melts and milder weather.

lovely, wouldnt mind the bigger one myself, my friend got one and lovely, mine medium size, still not up as dont know where to put it haha, have to see springtime.

i guessed that paul lol

thanx paul did it all myself apart from the digging which baz did and my sons dug out all the old trees, i have a marsh marigold in basket, also have iris, a couple of grasses and another which common name is orange peel plant which has lovely white flowers and the leaves smell of cytrus, in the pond i have water hyacinth which is annual but in this country unless we have a great summer it doesnt flower but the fish love to eat the roots and shades the pond cause its grows so fast, also i have water soldiers which sink to bottom in winter and float in summer, a water lily, then normal plants there after up the slope with rockery plants to drip over the stones to soften it all.
