Lovely to see the pics of your village....particularly like the flower beds on the streets and round the trees....nice colourful touch..

A lovely tour around a lovely village, did your village enter in the Britain in Bloom contest,? was just wondering as there are so many beautiful flower displays everywhere. Looks and sounds a very pretty and friendly place to live,

Our front garden has been totally paved for quite a while now and we are getting a bit fed-up with it, we miss the planting area so thinking of taking out just a few flags and re-creating the front garden. That's still in the planning stage though.

I just Googled and found that they are what is called paper wasps they can build something like that anywhere and they are very agressive, so good job you did'nt get too close.

Keep saying i'm going to get a cone, as you can put food in them in winter for the birds, it would be a laugh trying to fill that big thing let alone hang it up.
