angelina poem, jacque encouraged me to write

The moment i saw her sat alone,
I knew i had to take her home,
A tiny frame looking so sad,
Left to die,her owners so bad,
Cancer had taken part of her ear,
People just passed her as she sat in fear,

I brought her back to our happy home.
That little cat a bag of bones,
It didnt take long to claim our love,
So much joy she gave to us,

Angelina was her name,
A perfect angel to me she came,
A garden friend to me each day,
Never thought she would be taken away,

The happiest years she gave to me,
The best little cat a pet could be,
She loved to watch the birds at play,
But never tried to scare them away,

We were brought together for a reason thats for sure,
If i could just have kept her a little more,
She has now gone to a better place,
By gods side to be at peace,

I will never forget the joy you gave,
Now at rest you were so brave,

i always smile when i see that last pic, she had just been shaved at the vets, looked so funny, its them times i think of that make me smile,

Sandra...I am sorry for your loss.....I have not been on GoY much this last week and so have only just caught up with your news. I have now taken a look at your previous blogs....it is a hard decision but the right one. We just 'know' when it is right and she will thank you for releasing her.
