About me

Both hubby and I have mobility issues; he has no interest in the garden, but I have been trying to grow some veg and some pretty flowers and shrubs to admire.
Since the death of our hedge in the front garden (I think this was honey fungus but am not certain) we had some landscapers lay membrane and gravel. Unfortunately the grass and weeds have grown through and I shall have to weedkill everything to return it to gravel once more.
We also have a triangular side plot big enough for another house which is just wild (but strimmed) grass and weed.
To the rear we have a small patio and a raised area at the bottom on which I have a delapidated greenhouse an old bath (for my runner beans) and a puctured pond liner (for my potaoes).
I have attempted to build a small raised bed, but I didn't make it high enough so I will try again during the winter.
