hi, My zone is 10b. we normally sow perennial MG in spring for late summer flowering. But some one told me that we can sow it in summer for fall blooming and sow in winter for spring blooming. Is it correct? i thought it does not tolerate winters.

Thanks.

It doesn't survive over winter, but whoever told you that may have done it - might be worth a try to see what happens, who knows, sometimes these things work even when they're not supposed to. I live in London and I've had an ivy leaved trailing geranium on my balcony for 10 years - I've cut it back twice over the years from the 6 x 6 foot monster size it grows to. And that's not supposed to happen!

How do I say thanks?
