Please help identify if this is Phoenix canariensis

United States Us

I have heard that this tree is a common palm (landscaper) and also a Phoenix canariensis. If someone could help me identify if this truly the species it would be greatly appreciated.

This certainly does look like Phoenix Canariensis - but the person to check with would be Delonix. Maybe you could send a private message and ask him to look at your question.

Navartis1:

This is definitely a Phoenix canariensis - Canary Island Date Palm...or also in CA called
California Date Palm.

It is an extremely common palm in all lower-elevations of California.

How do I say thanks?
