Should be ready now - try scraping some soil from around them until you find some and see if they are big enough. I have been digging mine for a couple of weeks now. Not much lost if you dig one up and look if you aren't sure!

On the other hand I have just been and dug the first root of our potatoes. Planted 28 March and it yielded just three tiny spuds! Our weather has been much drier than for most of you and I suspect that is the reason. I will have to leave them a little longer yet.

A month ago I would have said YES!!!! Steragram but it seems to be catching up on itself now. Fortunately not nearly as heavily as in some places.

just letting yu know that l dug 3 potato plants up and there were enough on for 3 meals..........very delicious.. l shall wait a while now and let them grow a little more.Thanks again for the advice..Buzby
