Some good experiences and one very bad one - dormant plants so by the time I knew they were useless it was too late to put negative feedback.

To be honest, the only people I have ever had bad experiances from are the times I have not checked their feed back.
I always pack my plants/items to a good standard and explain as much as possible to try and prevent problems.

Stick with people that have good feed back, and the right up is honest.
There are a lot of good people out there as well as rouges.

I have a fear of buying growing plants by mail order in that I am concerned for the plant's welfare whilst in the post.
Dry bulbs I do buy on a regular basis.

I often buy on eBay and have had excellent plants every time. I will only buy from sellers with excellent feedback. Not only do they sell good plants but are also happy to give advice because often they specialise in just a few kinds of plants and know their subject. In my experience plants arrive quickly and very well packed.

If a seller has a few recent buyers who have been unhappy with some aspect of the transaction then I always move on and find a different seller.

I'll let you know when mine finally arrive.

I'm just about to email my seller to find out where my plants are.

I've never been disappointed by the plants i ordered on ebay. The sellers I've come across have been friendly and informative. They rely on feedback and know it. Unlike some well known catalogues, which sell us plants that are too young to flower this year. ( I'm thinking Parkers)
Give me ebay any day if you want good plants.

Well, I've just had a reply from my ebay seller. Apparently, my plants were posted on Wednesday. So, even if they turn up on Monday, after 6 days in the post/dark I'm not convinced they'll be worth having.

Not sellers fault though. It's the ******** P.O. again.

If they were sent on Wednesday, Llew. Mg sent some plants to a GoY person this week, first class, and recieved an e-mail the folowing day to say that they had arrived OK.

Yes, IF they were sent on Wednesday, Bulbaholic. I did think that myself. I know the post can be bad, but it's not often. If they turn up in perfect condition, I'll know they weren't sent won't I? I doubt they'd be any good after 6 days, so we'll see, eh?
