How can I deal with rust on garlic?

My garlic was growing very well - it's been in the ground for about a year - but has suddenly developed rust on the foliage. What can I do?

Rust is awful Your Poor Garlic :( I had it on All My Chives last yr Judyp & pulled every leaf off them so i got no flowers @ all :( But this Yr theyv come back Heatlhy & have many flowers to open :) Hope u can get some helpful advice as i know mine doesnt help only give u hope !
