have recently moved a rather large camelia whilst in flower, had to cut back all branches and now remaining leaves are brown and pretty miserable. has anyone had to move such a plant and been successful? how will i know 'it will be all right'?

it will drop its leaves as it has been 'shocked'. all you can do is wait to see if it re-leafs I am afraid. after six months if there are no leaves scrape off a little bit of the bark, if it is green underneath then its a live, if it is brown it is dead.
