Hi everyone.
Afraid I haven't been on the site for a while. Had a bit of a horrible year.
Can anyone please tell me the name of this plant/shrub? I saw it in a garden on one of my walks and it is looking absolutely stunning at the moment. Thank you in anticipation.

Yes as said Leycesteria formosa also known as Himalayan Honeysuckle.

Leycesteria something or other, possible formosa.
Pheasant berry.
Some people regard it as a thug because its seeds spread readily but I love it and especially love the gymnastics the birds go through to get at the berries.
