Rockwall 1" cubes

Are these cubes for raising seedlings to be planted out into the garden/allotment? Can they be used to start off parsnips? Having bought them I gather they are intended for growing in a hydroponic system!

welcome to GoY. hope you find all of us helpful. however these cubes wont be any good for parsnips as the root will fork etc. I dont think they will be very good but give them a try and see how they do. then let us know too. we like sharing info.
